Heather’s career in film and television began by accident in Saskatchewan in 1995 when her post-university graduation job as a PA on a series of commercials launched her down a path to the entertainment industry.  Although she had planned to make more use of her BA Honours Psychology degree, Heather worked both on set and in a production office, eventually producing four seasons of episodic lifestyle and documentary television programming for Life Network and History Television.  She moved to Vancouver in 2006 where she decided to try her hand at business affairs in an animation environment for several years.  She returned briefly to production, in research and story producing roles for a variety of lifestyle television programs, as well as series producing a doc crime series for Investigation Discovery US and Canada.  Heather’s greatest achievement in production, however, was the birth of her son in 2013, and she resumed working in business affairs the following year.  Heather lives with her son and dog in Vancouver where she enjoys family time, being outside, and trying to keep her patio plants alive.
